THIS WAS A TRIP OF A LIFETIME!!! The entire team was ON IT!! They made the visa process seamless. Their attention to detail and our needs were top tier! I got more than my moneys worth on this trip! I loved being able to do as little or as much as I wanted. They went above and beyond to help when issues happened. They pivoted when plans changed with no disruption to the trip. They worked amazingly as a team. I can’t wait to go on another trip.

A dream trip with an explosion of fun, culture, history, and fellowship! Ghana felt like my people and my heritage! The red clay gave me a feeling of nostalgia with our country home in Texas! The ladies on the trip were awesome! The accommodations were top tier! I chose to get my hair braided! Awesome experience for so many reasons.
The opening night dinner was exhilarating! The beautiful decor, the food, the cocktails, the drummers, the poet, the name ceremony, and DEMETRIA!!
The tours and guides were knowledgeable! I feel like I learned and experienced so much in seven days. The different restaurants with all kinds of food were nice. And the “professional” photos and videos that we will have as keepsakes is an added bonus!
Last but definitely not least, the staff!!!
The service from the Zoom call to the airport drop off was Excellent! I wanted to bring Albert home! Every person attended to our every need and want with a smile!! They worked endlessly to ensure we had daily itineraries, snacks on the bus, addressed all issues, AND provided much needed toilet paper😆
I chose to go on this trip for Demetria L Lucas. I am a long time fan of her products, book, movie, and podcast! She was lovely and fun! BUT, I hope to return and experience the KLA Lifestyle Brand again!!!!

My experience with KLA was meaningful, and I want to offer a fair review that reflects both the strengths of the team and the areas that would enhance future trips. The greatest highlight was the attentiveness and outstanding customer service provided by Zeenat, Maureen, Maxwell, and Albert. Each of them consistently demonstrated professionalism, warmth, and genuine care. They checked in often, anticipated needs, and made sure travelers felt supported throughout the journey. Their presence added comfort, clarity, and a sense of community, and they are truly the heart of the KLA experience.
One area that some travelers felt challenged by was the limited time allotted for shopping. The pace often felt rushed, leaving little room to browse, compare options, or fully enjoy the cultural richness of the markets. Additionally, the seamstress experience, while valuable, would be far more impactful as a whole‑group activity. When travelers are separated, some miss the opportunity to see all fabric selections, hear others’ ideas, or feel included in the creative process. A shared session—where everyone can view fabrics, discuss styles, and engage together—would create a more equitable and enjoyable experience.
There are also opportunities to improve the timing of meals, as lunch and dinner were sometimes scheduled too closely together. Spacing meals more intentionally would allow travelers to build an appetite and fully enjoy each dining experience without feeling rushed or overly full.
Overall, the trip was enriched by the exceptional staff, and with a few adjustments to scheduling, shopping time, and group coordination, KLA can offer an even more seamless and enjoyable experience for all travelers.

I’m so happy I was able to experience this curated trip to Ghana! From the women who attended, to the KLA staff, David’s and Demetria, all were wonderful to be around. It was the perfect mix of culture, luxury, and relaxation. I truly enjoyed the trip to Cape Coast and museum visits as well as the opportunity to relax at the hotel spa and order custom made Ghanaian outfits. So many perfect touches! In addition the KLA staff was so attentive and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our
stay. I definitely would recommend others join a #Seesomeworld trip!

I've traveled with many travel agencies through the years and have been pleased with my experiences. However, my experience with KLA has by far exceeded the other companies, it was truly a VIP service.
They took away the uncertainties of planning a visit to a country I have not been to before and replaced it with a well crafted itinerary. Although we had a full schedule we never felt rushed. The staff ALWAYS kept the bigger picture to the forefront that we were on VACATION. They included adventures on the trip that were well thought out. Everything was super clear and intuitive daily that the guest didn't worry about the day-to-day activities. Their dining selections gave us a deeper understanding and appreciation to their cultures. We often tried to figure out which restaurant had the better selections. I don't think we were ever able to decide, 😆.
On a personal note, I became ill during the trip and the staff was extremely attentive to my wellness. They offered to take me to the hospital, go to the drug store and even made sure the hotel kept my room stocked with whatever I needed. I am truly grateful for their hospitality.
My visit to Ghana (Oct 3 - 10, 2025) was to celebrate my dearest friend T. Dean 70th birthday.
KUDOS, to the KLA team for making my adventure memorable. You guys were absolutely amazing and I am so fortunate to have met such amazing,amazing people as you. May our paths cross again.

This is my second KLA Goes to Ghana experience, and once again I was blown away by the care, kindness, intentionality, and unmatched levels of curated excellence that is the hallmark of the KLA experience. Davida, Mika and their team truly leave no stone unturned. This was more than a luxury vacation — this was a deeply soul-stirring moment with memories made during each part of the itinerary (and brilliantly captured thanks to the amazing media and content teams with us each day!) There is a nuanced and thoughtful approach the KLA team takes when carefully crafting and curating each part of the itinerary that you won’t find anywhere else. The KLA team truly makes this experience the very best of being “home”.

I travelled on the Juneteenth 2024 trip, and my expectations were far exceeded to say the least. So much detail and effort went into so many things and I felt welcomed, pampered and so taken care of. KLA curated such an amazing experience that I didn’t want to leave after the trip was over. The KLA staff were AMAZING, from the film team, to the everyday staff to the transportation team. I’m hoping they will add other locations as I would definitely participate on another trip.
My only suggestion is regarding the add on safari. Adding more information about the safari would be helpful to future clients (i.e. clothes to pack, time of arrival, bringing snacks for that event, etc.) Also, the safari was great but I’d prefer to have done it first then do KLA part (which would also maybe impact how clients need to pack). In any event, it was a great experience and I’m itching to go back.
